[Huh, interesting. He hasn't seen many people with Tatsugiri as one of their Pokemon partners.]

Bellamy will eat any bird. However, Tatsugiri can't hunt by themselves. They act as bait for a Pokemon known as Dondozo to lure in food, and they can get very stressed and anxious without one to bond with. If you notice that behavior with Bellamy, I suggest finding a Dondozo that can bond with him. Anyone from POKEGO can help you with this, including myself.

Charles is a Kingler, which means that he's a scavenger. They'll eat what washes up on the shore or scavenge for carcasses on the ocean floor. Also, Kingler are highly territorial, so make sure you take care in raising Charles to not attack indiscriminately.

All right, that explains why Bellamy seemed desperate to hide anywhere he could find. I'll go and get him a friend—I'm assuming these Dondozo can be found in Kanto or wherever POKEGO's set themselves up?

I'll make sure he attacks only those I point him at. [Which is not very reassuring, Edward!] He's taken quite well to the Jackdaw, I've not been attacked by as many seagulls seeking my food since he took up with me.

That's right. Kanto would be a good place to start. They tend to live in large lakes. Azalea (Yuuki), Larch (Varian) and Olive (Jun) have been doing good work on making a map of Kanto, so they can help you with any locations.

Maybe keep it to defending your ship against other predators and pests instead of people. But it's good he feels at home there.

Jun I know, but I’ll admit I’m a bit reluctant to draw him away from the Jackdaw. I can ask for a map of what they’ve charted so far—I can take care of myself.

Well, he is a crab. I’d be surprised if he didn’t feel at home on the sea.
