[ he hadn't been gone very long, only ducking out to collect a few things (mostly supplies, the replacement phone he has asked gil to organize, and a quick stop into the goodwill) before returning not long after. as he had promised. although he returns with a lot more than he had left with; a new hoodie, a box tucked under his arm, a bag of assorted food supplies, and a strange red and white ball in his hand. ]
